Jalees Hyder is a poet and educator born and raised in Indian-occupied-Kashmir. His work draws from lived experience under military occupation and speaks across borders against injustice in all its forms. Through teach-ins, writing, and collective conversations, he centers Kashmir while connecting struggles for liberation around the world.
